  • José Echeverría Vega is a poet, brother, and border hater from the Southwest. His work has appeared in swim press, The Passionfruit Review, and VERDANT, among others. While he pursues his MFA in creative writing at Rutgers University, he is at work tracing the arc between grief, memory, and the divine (i.e., his first manuscript). He lives in New Jersey.

  • Note:He is also a public sector professional with nearly 10 years of experience managing community-based programs and administering state and federal grants. In 2020, he received his Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Arizona State University. Although he is currently a state-funded poet, he’d eventually like to trace the arc to a meaningful job.
